Different types of parameters
Currently we are running into a wall with re-usability. Either we don't use parameters, and there's no re-usability and alot of cloned code for one single functionality, or we use parameters and every test with "Call steps from another test" will have to set up all the parameters on test set run.
I propose a way to set parameter values on a test level. So when we use "Call steps from another test", all the parameters for that called test are possible to be set from within the current test, allowing for a lot more re-usability within tests. Not all should…

The ability to sort filters by column on the "All Filters" page
The ability to sort filters by column on the "All Filters" page.
For instance, we currently have 9 pages of filters on PractiTest project, so it's difficult to find specific filters or categories on that page.5 votes -
Need Better method to select the parent filter when creating a filter
Need better method to select the parent filter when creating a filter. Right now the entire filter tree(s) is shown as a dash-indented list, which requires quite a bit a scrolling to find the desired filter when the list is large.

As an Admin, I Need the Ability to Add Values to Same Field Across All Projects
I have many of the same custom fields in all my projects. When I need to add a new value, I want to be able to add that value in one place and have it propagate to the custom field in All my Projects. Ex. Release field - Planning releases for each month, why create 2025-01 in all my projects. Let me have one master field that populated all my projects.

Set a default time zone for the account
When new users are added they are initially set up with the time set to UTC (GMT). For most users this is not appropriate and they need to go into settings to set their own time zone. This even applies to users in the UK who need to select London in order to get the daylight saving time applied automatically in the summer. If we could have the facility for an administrator to set the default time zone for an account then most new users would be set up with the right time.

Improve functionality of editing and updating tests from runs
I find the current functionality of updating your test while executing it a bit clunky. Now I do understand that it is meant for small changes where big test overhauls should only be done in the test Steps tab but still I think there are some improvements to be made.
1) If a step has been edited during a run, PT should ask the user if he wishes to 'Update Original test' before navigating away from the page. I find that I often update a step but forget to click the button to update the test at the end.

Add status for users in user setup
In current version the basis for access and invoicing is users defined in the user setup. In a project when testers are involved now and then, the administrator must manually remove the users to have control of the costs. When the users is supposed to do testing activities later, the admin must then manually add all users. This is very time consuming in big projects. However, it should be possible to set a user inactive by changing a status that will prevent the user from having access to the project and also will exclude this user from the payment.

Next test should execute based upon filters and views.
When executing test cases, my testers should be able to filter and order them how they want to run them. So if I mix and match which tester is taking which test they should be able to filter by their name and test name and run the tests in that order. Right now it ignores the order and just goes to next test based upon how they where added to the test set.

Allow user to change order of filters
Currently the filters all display alphabetically unfortunately we don't always work this way, It would be helpful to allow you to set the order manually or just use drag and drop to organize them

Report inactive users
Have a report showing the users that have not logged in for a configurable amount of time.
For example, all users that have not logged in for the last 3 months.
Thanks,
