  2. We are using comments of each test steps effectively so, it would be very helpful if there is an ability to export each comments in the test steps.
We can export Test Library>Test>”General” tab>Comments.

  3. I have two suggestions about the use of Linked Lists in filters:

Suggestion 1. If I use a parent list in the criterion, the criterion of a linked list should show me only the values that are related to the parent list value.
For example, I have two fields
    Feature - values A, B
    Sub Feature - values (A) 1,2 ; (B) 3,4
If my first criterion is "Feature is A", and I start to create criteria "Sub Feature is..", then the dropdown list should show me only values 1,2. Currently it shows 1,2,3,4

    Suggestion 2: If I use the…

  4. When you click on a slice of a Pie Chart, or a column in a Bar Chart - if this is a chart of tests, test sets, requirements or issues, you'll get redirected to a filtered list related to this pie, or column.
It should also be possible to get with instances and runs.

I understand it will look different, because in other cases the result looks like a filter and instances/runs don't have filters, but we still should get some sort of a list to work with.

    This would be very useful

  5. An example of this is a table of target release by severity of defects.
Some defects don't have a target release and thus on dashboards do not appear.

I would be good if the dashboard tables displayed all items that conforms to the filter and add a 'blanks' row or column to account for blank items.

  6. There are API endpoints for retrieving the test instances that belong to a particular test set, but there is no information about what order these tests should be in.

In the PractiTest UI it's possible to change the order of tests within a test set and have it saved at the https://prod.practitest.com/p/{{project_id}}/sets/{{set_id}}/sort_instances page, but there is no equivalent operation for getting or setting the order of tests from the API.

  7. It would be great to have a dedicated field with the name of the user who created an Instance in the Test Set.
Auto populated, like Author in Requirements, Tests, Test Sets, Issues.

Something like "Added by" or "Created by"

  8. Right now the company URL, if I work in a project is just:
    https://prod.practitest.com/p/<PROJECT_ID>/....
And if I'm in the account settings, it's:
    https://prod.practitest.com/accounts/<ACCOUNT_ID>/settings

Is it possible to create the alias URL with the name of the account inside it?
    Such as:
    https://<ACCOUNT_NAME>.practitest.com/p/<PROJECT_ID>/....
    https://<ACCOUNT_NAME>.practitest.com/accounts/settings

  9. My use case is, that I have a list type field that I use for versioning. Version values are integers, but I need it as a list type field because I use auto filters for this field.
I also need to create a filter with Filter criteria, for example, versions that are "equal or greater" than a certain number. Right now, the list Criteria in the filter do not support it.

  12. When adding custom value fields to the forms, users are unable to resize those fields in order to see the entire contents of the field. This enhancement would allow form admins to expand a text of drop-down field to display the entire text.

  14. Currently, the text formatting in issue descriptions includes no strikethrough ability. It would be nice to have this as, its easier to understand versus editing+deleting then saving, or making extra text to explain its no longer occurring if expected results, or something else changes.

For comments there is 0 formatting options

  15. I'm using the report feature to extract data, but sometime, what I would like to extract is only the table that is displayed when you select a filter.
It would be nice to get the option to extract this view in an excel format, instead of creating a (one shot) report and spend time to rework the format to create a table similar to what is displayed on the screen.

  16. I would like to be able to see the task lane values in filters and reports.
Currently you can't add task lane as a column.

This is a sever limitation to the usefulness of the task lanes.
Please can this functionality be added

  17. When we sync Jira issue to Practitest - whether it's going to be an issue, or a requirement - we can only see which type it is in Jira in Description field.
If we could map it to custom field in Practitest, it will help us organizing them in Practitest per issue types, for example, with Filters.

For example, we sync both Stories and Epics as Requirements, I want to build a filter (autofilter for example) which shows which Requirements are Stories and which are Epics.

The integration with Azure Devops Server doesn't work.

  20. Expand traceability in Requiremnets to include Linked Requirements., This will enable association between Business Requirements to Functional Requirements etc.

Also supports a heirachy of requirements (drill down).

It appears that the change would be relatively simple given the existing Traceability functions in Requirements for Linked Tests and Linked Issues. Just add Linked Requirements.
