  1. When we find an issue testing for a specific JIRA we create subtasks under that jira. Practitest is creating new JIRA but not subtasks so we have to go back in and update each JIRA to assign it correctly. This should be an option in configuration.

  2. When I import Requirements from Pivotal, we use that Integration, or I create a new test linked to a Requirement, it is pretty nice that I have the link to the requirement. But, when I click on the Requirement link, I got out of Practitest and redirected in the same tab, to the Requirement.
For a better User Experience, and it is a standard in Web Design, when you link to sites that are not under your system, they are opened in a new tab. I don't want to go out from my Test ticket in Practitest but I want…

  3. Have a report showing the users that have not logged in for a configurable amount of time.
For example, all users that have not logged in for the last 3 months.
    Thanks,

  6. On Test Set view there is an option to assign to specific Tester. In order to do it you need to choose Tester and Save view. So if you want to run a test set you need to: 1. assign it to yourself 2. save 3. run. I think step 3 is not needed. Run Now could also save changes or at least Assigner.

  8. Currently a linked list shows regardless of whether or not there is data available in that field currently. I suggest that unless the linked list has a parent chosen that populates that field, the linked list should be able to be hidden in the UI.

    Example:
There are 2 lists. List 1, the parent, has 3 available variables: a, b, and c.
List 2 is the linked list and has data available to be chosen for variable c.
If nothing, a, or b are chosen in List 1, List 2 should not show in the UI. If c is chosen…

  9. Right now we can modify email notifications for pretty much everything (including batch edit) but unfortunately, not batch delete. It would be great to have the option to disable the notification for batch delete.

  10. When there is a problem / something unclear with a test, the author is addressed for explanation.
The author is not conserved when cloning tests (example - when moving tests from one project to another), causing a lot of confusion as to who should receive the questions. The cloner is listed as the author.
When cloning tests, i can choose which attributes of the test i want to import to the cloned test (version, status, componenet, etc). Author is listed but cannot be selected. Please add the ability to import that as well.

  12. When I was setting up test folder, I would click on the + sign and start typing. Then I would look and realize that I was not really typing in any field. Please make sure the Folder Name field is active when creating new folder. That was the user does not have to click in the field (the only field) to name it and move on.

  16. When linking a defect to an executed (failed) test, you do not always remember the defect ID. This is an annoying way to currently link defects.
On the link existing issue step, it would help greatly if we could bring up a list of all defects and be able to sort and search them by date/title/description.

  18. Currently, when you enter an existing test set, the Test Instance Name column is very narrow, cutting off most text of the test name. I constantly have to increase the Test Instance Name column EVERY time I reload the test set page. It's very annoying. At the very least, it would be nice if the column width would be remembered while I'm actively so I don't have to constantly increase it.

  19. Can we have feature of having different expected results depending on chosen params? It would be very useful in cases where you have similar steps (driven by param) but different exepected results.
