  1. As a user I would like to use the two way integration with the possibility of being able to add manually issues. Example: 2 teams will integrate with PractiTest and the 3rd will still add manually issues since they all work on the same project.

  2. If you want to do a bulk edit of a field for the tests in a test set you are limited to what you are allowed to see on the page (max 100 now). If I have a few hundred I currently have to go to each page and do a bulk edit. What is even more tedious is after I do one it resets back to 1-100 so I have to first double check I did it correctly for say 201-200, etc. This functionality is available when doing bulk edits of tests (where it asks if you would like…

  3. When I do permutations over TestSets in the upper part there is TestSet ID. Can it be changed to TestSet name? I often do permutations of many TestSets one after another and sometimes forget which TestSet I have now.

  4. A test is added to the Test Library that contains parameter values. That test is added to a Test Set multiple times with a variation in the parameter value. Each parameter test is run multiple times, some pass, some may fail. The overall pass of the test set instance can be determined by the admin user with pass fail criteria (percentage based) with a specification on the required number of runs per test instance. Eg. If there is only 1 pass and 99 fails the overall parameter instance should not be pass when there is a 100% pass run requirement.…

  6. There are several fields in JIRA that we need to be reflected in PractiTest. In particular we use a fix in version field to associate releases in Jira and we need that field to be updated in the corresponding PractiTest ticket. Other fields such as priority should be mapped and synchronized.

We spend a copious amount of time with each release/sprint updating Requirements in PractiTest to reflect what the PMs have assigned for the current development cycle. Each time a requirement falls out of scope or a new on is added, we have to manually update PractiTest.

  8. I spotted Practitest is the reason of huge memory usage in FF browser with Windows 7. Usage is gradually increasing, especially when I open it in few tabs. It is laggy as well, but only within tabs where I have Practitest.

After closing tabs with Practitest memory is not released.

  9. In Firefox browser I spotted following situation - when I click on link to attachment, PractiTest opens a file instead of call browser's dialog with option to choice - open or download a file.

  10. It would be useful to add Status on steps so that a single test can be divided in different steps which should be evaluated singularly

  12. With new Zapier integration it would be great to add new trigger: when new Test Set is created it is send as a task to one of the boards like Kanbanery, Trello or other. Where to send can be based on List field in Test Set to allow flexibility.

  13. Edith said to me: With regards to the Requirement, the status will be Failed, but the Issue will not be linked automatically. You can link it manually. I agree with you that the Issue should be linked automatically and will happy if you can add it as a feature request here.

  15. As mentioned with the Ability to add a test case item, we tried filters; it’s cumbersome to have to shift gears and create a new filter every time that we want to look up / search for something new. It clutters things up as then there is the maintenance and scrolling to contend with as well.

  16. Currently when you add link as attachment to test or step it is always prefixed with "http://". I would like to have option to add internal links to the server locations so not http connection. Can you please remove adding http protocol in attachments?

  17. Need a warning when creating a test case if the name is already in use. This should be an option in settings, since I know some testers don't need this. However with my team, each name needs to be unique. So having a warning when we are duplicating a test name would be helpful.

  19. My test cases are named based upon area of application. So when adding to the test set I am manually sorting through 50+ test cases per section which I need in chronological order for execution. The ability to sort test cases alphanumerically when adding so I can add them in order by section would be huge for me and my team.
