folder
Create a New Test directly into the folder highlighted/selected. when creating a new test I currently, regardless of folder selected on Test Library tab, have to manually set the 'Test Folder' as part of the test creation. Otherwise the test is created in the root folder - terribly inefficient.

Kindly note that from now on you are able to create a report of type ‘tabular with steps’ displaying tests with their steps from the specific filter by using the new Reporting module.
To access it, please go to Reports. Please note that the reports can be downloaded as Excel and data will reside in the second sheet.
Thanks and have a great week!

Add Traceability information to exports
Exporting data from Practitest to Excel is a powerful feature. But it the data that is exported is limited. In particular, the traceability information would be a very useful addition.

Custom Fields Customization missing edit value name, you can only add or delete value.
9 votesHI,
Kindly note that we added the option you’ve requested for.
From now on you will be able to rename values within ‘list’ custom fields and the updated value/s will be updated in all the entities using them including Dashboards & Reports.
Thanks for making PractiTest better.

in REST API allow creating a new test that covers an existing requirement
The REST API lets us create requirements with mappings to test ids. The typical use case is for requirements to be defined and then QA dev creates the associated test cases. The user interface allows the workflow, but the REST API does not.
9 votesHi,
Kindly note that this option was added into the system.
Please see traceability sections for more information in our REST API documentation below:

In addition to "time/effort" field (Asked by Kylie) please add a new graph: X axe will be the SUM of the Time/Effort.
In addition to "time/effort" field (Asked by Kylie) please add the following graph:
X axe will represent the SUM of the Time/Effort , Y axe will represent the instance run status in order to estimate how much TIME left to end of cycle and not only how MANY tests left.9 votes -

Add more data types/field formats to custom fields
For custom field use, add more field formats such as:
* time (hh:mm)
* External Link (URL)
* Multiple hierarchy levels in a linked list and not just one parent-child (also grandchildren etc)
*link other data types to a parent list
(eg: if you select A from parent list then a text field appears instead of only a child list)9 votesIf something is still missing and important to you, then please open a new User Voice.

Mass import multiple issues from Jira based on a specific Jira filter, project, status, etc...
Currently the only way to import issues from Jira (stories, bugs, tasks, etc...) is either one by one (or type multiple ticket numbers in the import field) or by exporting from Jira to a spreadsheet and importing. It would be nice to be able to import tickets by type, date range, status, specific jira filter, specific sprint, etc...

Ability to select what fields should be included in a (detailed) report.
Currently if I create a detailed test report it shows all fields even if I want them hidden from the report (eg: test case revision history and other custom fields not relevant for that report)

Automatic filters when create/update fields
Filters are great! I use them a lot. I use fields too. It would be great if there would be possibility of creating or updating filters while creating/modifying fields. Ie. when you add new entry in field of List type you should have possibility of automatic filter based on that field update.
7 votesHi,
Kindly note that we have implemented Auto Filters that allow to create automatic filter trees according to List field values, find more information here:

Specify the name of the deleted test case in the email notification send to the users.
When deleting a test case, now we receives an email from Practi Test. If you could specify which tests have I deleted in the email that would be useful for the user.
