  4. Create a New Test directly into the folder highlighted/selected. when creating a new test I currently, regardless of folder selected on Test Library tab, have to manually set the 'Test Folder' as part of the test creation. Otherwise the test is created in the root folder - terribly inefficient.

  5. We are managing traceability matrix per module and would want centralized location (e.g. requirements) in which we could link test to the tracability table.

    Please see "Requirement Tabular Traceability Report".

    If this is not enough, then please open a new UserVoice.

  6. It would be a great benefit to us if the filter coould be like it is in excel where you have the poosibility to customize it so you can define your own filter. For instance fileter on several "status", not only one.

    Hi ,

    Wanted to notify you that this option is available now in our solution.

    In order to create a filter with different statuses as criteria, just use ‘OR’ query when you add statuses.

    Thanks and have a good day!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  7. When clicking on Reorder Steps for a Test - the steps appear as a long list without the Step Number next to them. This makes it hard for the User to know which Step to swap around. Please could we add the Step Number to the title of the Step.

    Hi,

    Kindly note that from now on you are able to create a report of type ‘tabular with steps’ displaying tests with their steps from the specific filter by using the new Reporting module.

    To access it, please go to Reports. Please note that the reports can be downloaded as Excel and data will reside in the second sheet.

    Thanks and have a great week!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  11. The option selected in the drop down controlling the number of issues displayed per page is not persisted. If you change the option, view an issue, then return to the "Issues" tab, it is reset to 20 issues per page.

  14. Exporting data from Practitest to Excel is a powerful feature. But it the data that is exported is limited. In particular, the traceability information would be a very useful addition.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your request.

    Kindly note that the new Report Center (Beta) allows you to create traceability reports in Excel format.

    Please go to Reports, to access it.

    Thanks again and have a great week!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  15. In addition to "time/effort" field (Asked by Kylie) please add the following graph:
    X axe will represent the SUM of the Time/Effort , Y axe will represent the instance run status in order to estimate how much TIME left to end of cycle and not only how MANY tests left.

  16. Currently the only way to import issues from Jira (stories, bugs, tasks, etc...) is either one by one (or type multiple ticket numbers in the import field) or by exporting from Jira to a spreadsheet and importing. It would be nice to be able to import tickets by type, date range, status, specific jira filter, specific sprint, etc...

    If importing by Jira Filter is not sufficient, then please open a new User Voice.

  18. For custom field use, add more field formats such as:
    * time (hh:mm)
    * External Link (URL)
    * Multiple hierarchy levels in a linked list and not just one parent-child (also grandchildren etc)
    *link other data types to a parent list
    (eg: if you select A from parent list then a text field appears instead of only a child list)

  19. The REST API lets us create requirements with mappings to test ids. The typical use case is for requirements to be defined and then QA dev creates the associated test cases. The user interface allows the workflow, but the REST API does not.

  20. Currently if I create a detailed test report it shows all fields even if I want them hidden from the report (eg: test case revision history and other custom fields not relevant for that report)
