  1. Be able to rename files directly when using "Press ctrl+v to paste"

    When we paste a print screen as a file, the name is by default image.png. Sometimes we paste more then one and it would be good to be able to change the name to something more meaningful. Now we have to save it before loading it if we want to show a name for the file.

  3. Please add an option of copying and pasting steps from an existing test to a new test

    It will be useful for the users to have a option to copy whole steps (description & expected Result) from an existing test to a new one.

  4. add the ability to import test estimates

    Currently the feature is unavailable to import tests to library with an estimation. This means I am having to go and update individual tests post-import.
    It would be really useful to have this field mappable on the import functionality.

  6. Fix a bug with one of your certification test questions

    Question #22 has "B+C are correct" as the B option, so it doesn't make sense to choose that one, yet the test results say that it should have been selected.

  9. A more detailed test history

    We would like the test history to be more detailed. Currently it only shows us what step was updated but not a comparison of the changes made. We would like to see what was changed and what it was changed to (before and after). This would be of tremendous help during an audit if anything were to come up.

  10. Add "Author" field to Test Sets

    As a user I'd like to see who created a Test Set.
    Field "Author" appears in other modules, I'd like it to appear in TestSets as well

  12. Please provide 'Import test' feature available within a Test set.

    Currently, we import test cases and test cases are uploaded in test library then, when we create a test set then we need to find out our test cases and link with the test set.
    It's little tedious task to find out test cases when there are more than 100 and add to test set.
    Please add import test feature within a test set.

  13. Allow pulling attachments from runs via the API

    The REST API allows for uploading files when creating Runs using the Data/Files/Data array parameter. See https://www.practitest.com/api-v2/#create-a-run-automated-test

    It is important for my team to be able to download attachments from Runs using the REST API. I suggest the GET Runs API endpoint be extended to return uploaded files as as array at [Data][Files][Data].

  14. Ability to add custom fields in the test run level

    We want to add custom fields in the test run level. Fields for our testers to report about the test quality. The testers run a test, and before clicking "Run next test" they have to fill in some info about test quality, as a mandatory field.
    Now they fill in the info in the last step "Actual test result", but often they forget to do it. Therefore it would be great to have mandatory custom fields on that level.

  15. Improvement in JIRA integration

    We are facing following issue while integrating with JIRA and recommend these options should be available

    1 - Unable to see the attachment while doing the Sync with Jira issue - attached should be sync with JIRA . it will help to explain the issue
    2 - Unable to see the user comment in issue while doing the sync with JIRA. – it should sync the user comment so that we don’t have to go to Jira to see the comments

    It would be very helpful if there was an ability to tag users in comments starting with '@user1' so they user can get notification by email. This should be added where ever comments can be added

  20. Add ability to add Jira Issues with Jira custom fields included

    My requirement is to add jira issue with assignee list from jira and there are some custom jira field which are mandotory to post an issue in our project.

    So can we have some way that we can create or import that fields and can have at the time of Reporting issue

    Also ability to use Both the defect tracking tools external integeration as well as Prati Internal simultaneously.
