  1. Adding "Search" within the Test Library helps testers to goto particular test by typing the name of the test case for example in Zephyr tool it is very easy to search test cases within the library by typing the name nit full name though it will filter and show the list of test cases on that name and we can add them instantly to the Test Cycle which is very easy.

In PractiTest when we type any word related to Test Cases it is not even filtering nor showing test cases on that particular name.

  2. Currently, there is an option only to sort them in ascending order. If you need to sort them in reverse order, you can only do it manually

  3. Right now when you try to clone a project from Account settings, you have 4 options:
clone fields, clone users, clone user groups, clone integration settings.

It would be also very useful to clone filters. Probably should be related to "clone fields" option

  4. Right now pie charts in each test set (Steps graph and instances graph), show numbers only.
I would be very useful if they start using percentages too, like Pie charts you can create on Dashboard

  7. Similar to Xbot triggering scripts from local machine, I'd like to either trigger Postman API Call/Request, or the whole collection via Practitest.

  8. I'd like to see more columns displayed in JIRA when the linked Tests from PractiTest are displayed - or Steps of a run if it's a bug.

    For example, for linked Tests:
    - Assigned to
    - Tester (of a last run)
    For bugs
    - Priority (if it's different in PractiTest)

  10. In order to start a new test run, it is important to know which issues were documented in the last run.
I would like to see the result field of the last run in the current run.
Maybe as a shadowed text in the result field or a link with a tooltip preview.

  11. Our company uses a variety of different Jira projects for everything from idea generation to corporate planning, in addition to software development. On Jira tickets unrelated to software dev, you can still see the "PractiTest" button, even though we have not integrated that project to PractiTest.

It would be great if this button was only displayed once the link was established in both Jira and PractiTest, so that our leadership team that's using Jira for other purposes doesn't get confused by it.

  12. If I have a required custom field for a requirement that field is still blank when I import the requirement. I'd expect it to force me to select/enter a value, if it is required.

PractiTest vendor suggested to raise here:

    Hello Narasimha,
Following my conversation with the Product Team.
The request to add a verification/error step in case of the Import Jira issue to Requirement is not a request for just an enhancement, but rather a request to change the current functionality.
If implemented, this change might affect many other customers, which do use the Jira integration with Mandatory fields…

  17. Hello,
Currently, there are no ways to Archive Dashboards in PractiTest. As a matter of urgency, please implement ways to Archive Dashboards in PractiTest?

For instance, some Teams on a 2-weeks per month Sprints would like to never delete their Dashboards, but keep them for future references to their Leadership team's consumption.

Without a Dashboard Archive feature in PT, the number of dashboards will go pretty fast; and will become difficult for the QA teams and their Leadership teams to navigate.

PT Team, please consider implementing Archive Dashboards feature in PractiTest.

    Thank you!

    Best regards,
    Felix

  19. Admins are the only ones allowed to add values but sometimes they are unavailable. Not every tester has admin rights. To react flexibly to changing requirements, testers should be able to create values.

  20. I'm missing the reference from Test Set to Test.
To see previous results of this Test, I have to go to the Test Library. A direct link would be more practical.
In the Test Instances list, there is a column Test:ID. When I go to the ID I want to jump to the Traceability tab of the Test.
