Dependently visible custom fields
Like dependent lists it would be good to have custom fields that only appear (are visible) if an item is selected in a list. This reduces the number of custom fields that the user needs to select.
For example, if the selection in a list is "other" make a text field visible to enter the custom whatever. Otherwise show a dependent list.

Create tickets via E-mail for specific groups and people
It would be great if while we are creating tickets via e-mail, we would be able to assign them to specific support group or selected colleagues. We could have template that requester has to fill in, for example with name of person they want to assign it to. Then during ticket creation Practi Test would would automatically generate ticket for mentioned person.I believe it will greatly improve response time for users who are contacting their support via e-mail via Practi Test. It will also decrease amount of time spent on sorting tickets and re-assigning them to correct people.

Filtering on calendar periods
I need to create calendar period reports for management. It would be very useful if we had Last Calendar Week, This Calendar Week, Last Calendar Month, This Calendar Month, This Year, Last Year, etc. as options for filtering. Currently, you need to do this as a range of dates each time.

Clicking on Test description and able to edit the description without clicking on the pencil
User should be able to edit any field that has a pencil when they click inside the text box. This is very helpful as we are working with Jira all the time.

When returning from editing a Test Set it should return to the page you came from
Currently, the system returns you to the 1st page of Test Sets regardless. This is a bit annoying if you are working through them and have to keep reselecting the page.

Make the "Add requirements..." field case insensitive
In the test Traceability tab, the requirements field ("Add Requirements by typing their ID's") is case sensitive. This is annoying, especially since the failure does not say anything about capitalization. All requirements are upper case, so capitalization can be assumed.

Provide the ability to set default values for parameters
When creating a parameter, it would be great to be able to set a default value. This could be done similar to a python, with the equals sign: {{myParam=4}}.

Enable Esc or blur() collapse of dialogs
Some dialogs require a specific click to close. Examples: [Info] for any test in the Test Library, [show requirements] for any test's Traceability tab. These should get dismissed with the Esc key, and when clicking outside of the dialog.

Allow users to rename Transition Status.
Renaming Transition Status will save us some time in case we misspelled a status, but don't realize it until we are done completing the transition workflow.

Adding a testset id field which can be used to filter issue reported for a particular testset and see them on dashboard
Please have a feature which enables a user to see the dashboard updated with the number of defects raised for a particular Testset. Right now it is doable through the reports. But since Dashboard is the landing page of Practitest, it will be better if we can have that feature on dashboard also. May be we can have a field for test set id which we can add it in the Issue filter to update the dashboard view.

Add the ability to convert an issue to a test case
If we determine that a bug is a good test case, It would be great if we could convert that issue to a test case from the issue detailed page.
Add the ability to convert an issue to a test case so the user doesn't manually have to add a new test case.1 vote
