  2. We are managing traceability matrix per module and would want centralized location (e.g. requirements) in which we could link test to the tracability table.

Please see "Requirement Tabular Traceability Report".

If this is not enough, then please open a new UserVoice.

  3. Modify testcases using Batch Edit.and verify does it logged changes in History.Currently,it does log history at individual level not at batch level.I also would like to suggest,In History tab,it should display recent changes at first.currently it shows recent changes at bottom.

    Hi,

From now and on you will have record for actions you made via Batch Edit in the History tab. ‘updated via batch edit’ will be written for changes were made via Batch Edit.

    Best regards,
    Christine

    HI,

Kindly note that we added the option you’ve requested for.

From now on you will be able to rename values within ‘list’ custom fields and the updated value/s will be updated in all the entities using them including Dashboards & Reports.

    Thanks for making PractiTest better.

    Best regards,
    Yaniv

  5. It should be possible to set a particular test step to N/A. If this result is defined for that test step and the other test steps have status approve, then the complete test should get status passed. Now the tester has to set that single test step to either not run (which causes the complete test to have staus not completed) or delete the particular test step (to make the complete run to have status passed). Not any of these work arounds are satisfying for the Test Manager.

  6. Currently – no filtering/sorting is available when one is on the test instances page.
It would be very convenient to see only tests assigned to a certain tester when going through a testset, or tests that answer a certain filter (priority, cycle or any other defined parameter)

  9. For example, many of my tests include the same first three steps. It would be very convenient if I could create a test or shared steps that have those three steps and then insert them into each test. This way, if those steps changes, I would only need to edit them once, instead of for each test.

    Hi,

Kindly note that in addition to the comments deletion you are now able to edit comments as well.

    Have a great day!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  11. 1) Add a search allowing to find the Jira numbers in the tests of a testset
    2) In the test set I can enlarge the column but as soon as I edit a test and come back The size comes back to its default. I would expect it keep the size I used last
    3) Allow to change Tags using Bulk Edit
    4) Allow to enter tags, Application and Application release when importing tests cases

  14. when creating an instance item in the dashboard, you can only use the instance field. i offer to add the ability to choose test field of the test instance as well (as it showed in the test set table as Test: field X)

  17. As a practitest user, when adding/inserting a step during a test run, I would like to be defaulted in edit mode. I currently have to click 'edit' on an empty test step in order to modify it, then click update

Acceptance Criteria: During a test run, a user click on 'add a step' and be able to add input directly with out the need of any other 'clicks'

Data is saved correctly upon clicking 'update'

Data is persisted to original test case upon clicking 'update original test'

  19. Create a New Test directly into the folder highlighted/selected. when creating a new test I currently, regardless of folder selected on Test Library tab, have to manually set the 'Test Folder' as part of the test creation. Otherwise the test is created in the root folder - terribly inefficient.

  20. Currently my options are:
Run Test - this is the one I want to skip
Go Back to Test Set - an extra step and user unfriendly
    or
Go Back to Test in Library
I just want to skip this one test in the order and go to the one after (or 2 after it)
