  4. We currently have 5 projects and will be adding more as our company grows. Adding a single user to 3 or 4 projects which are in motion at any given time is cumbersome.

    Hi,

Please note that you can add users to multiple projects by going to the Account Settings – Manage Users – Batch add to projects.

    Best regards,
    Christine

  5. Currently it is impossible to integrate 1 PractiTest project to multiple projects in Jira.

  8. As a practitest user, when adding/inserting a step during a test run, I would like to be defaulted in edit mode. I currently have to click 'edit' on an empty test step in order to modify it, then click update

Acceptance Criteria: During a test run, a user click on 'add a step' and be able to add input directly with out the need of any other 'clicks'

Data is saved correctly upon clicking 'update'

Data is persisted to original test case upon clicking 'update original test'

    Hi,

Kindly note that from now on you are able to create a report of type ‘tabular with steps’ displaying tests with their steps from the specific filter by using the new Reporting module.

To access it, please go to Reports. Please note that the reports can be downloaded as Excel and data will reside in the second sheet.

Thanks and have a great week!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  10. Add the ability to make custom fields appear based on the input in other fields. For example, we have a custom list field called component that we use for grouping test items by feature. It would be helpful to have additional parameter fields appear if the tester selects a certain component.

    Hi Scott,

Kindly note that this feature request was completed and you can get notifications about creation as well.

    Best regards,
    Christine

  12. Allow the creation of a Test directly from the Requirement.

The test will be related to the requirement automatically to expedite the process.

    Hi Angela,

This feature is already in the system. Go to any requirements, in the traceability tab, in the section of LINKED TESTS, there is a button called Add New that does exactly what you are asking for.

    Thanks,

    -joel (PT Team)

  13. It's currently very difficult to filter/ pull out a report of just the tests that have linked issues to manage allocation of retests,
I currently have to do a detailed report of all tests and then click on the traceability filter, but this gives me all tests and a lot of data that I then have to manually filter out. I would also like to be able to see the description of the bug as well as the number.
I can't do this using filters either, as there is no way to add 'has linked bug' as a criteria to…

    Hi,

Kindly note that we have implemented this feature so that you can create filters with criteria: ‘Linked issues’ IS NOT EMPTY within the Test LIbrary and then to apply the created filter when generating a report.

    Best regards,
    Yaniv

  14. We want to be able to add in something like create a filter where title contains X.

    Hi Conor,

    Thanks for contacting us.

Kindly note that this feature already exists and you can create filter with criteria: “Name IS” and it will work as contains.

    Have a nice day!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  15. When fast running several tests, it would be very helpful to be able to put a comment on the actual result field (of the first step) of each test.
eg) I am fast running several tests and marking them as blocked. I want to put the same comment on the first step of all the tests, saying 'Blocked due to feature not implemented yet'

  16. I would like to execute the test cases in a certain order. So I created a custom field: "Test Order". In the Test Instance view, the "Test Order" column is not editable.
Assume I have 100 test cases, I need to set the "Test Order" for each of them, I need to open each test case and enter the value. Which is a very tedious task. Appreciate if PT can implement this feature.
    Thank You in advance!

    Hi Vanaja,

    Thanks for contacting us.

Kindly note that you can reorder tests within Test Sets by pressing the ‘Reorder Instances’ button at the bottom of the Test Instances grid.

    Will it help?

    Thanks
    Christine

  17. It would be very helpful if there was an ability to tag users in comments starting with '@user1' so they user can get notification by email. This should be added where ever comments can be added

  18. The REST API allows for uploading files when creating Runs using the Data/Files/Data array parameter. See https://www.practitest.com/api-v2/#create-a-run-automated-test

It is important for my team to be able to download attachments from Runs using the REST API. I suggest the GET Runs API endpoint be extended to return uploaded files as as array at [Data][Files][Data].

Field "Author" appears in other modules, I'd like it to appear in TestSets as well
