In the "Issues" view, save the option selected which controls the number of issues displayed per page
The option selected in the drop down controlling the number of issues displayed per page is not persisted. If you change the option, view an issue, then return to the "Issues" tab, it is reset to 20 issues per page.

Add Traceability information to exports
Exporting data from Practitest to Excel is a powerful feature. But it the data that is exported is limited. In particular, the traceability information would be a very useful addition.
10 votesHi,
Thanks for your request.
Kindly note that the new Report Center (Beta) allows you to create traceability reports in Excel format.
Please go to Reports, to access it.
Thanks again and have a great week!

Ability to copy a Custom View within a project at different levels for one module.
e.g. I have created one Custom View as 'View1' which has several child custom views such as 'View1.1','View1.2'. Now i create another custom view below 'View 1' as 'View 2'. Having the ability of simply copying 'View1.1' and 'View1.2' under 'View 2' would save lot of efforts for users. Especially if you see your project having number of similar tasks being created under it repeatedly.

Create the ability to link issues
This was suggested earlier and set to completed, but from the comments it seems to have been completed on the Call to Test feature, not linking issues.
There is the ability to see related issues within PractiTest but not link them. This would be a useful feature to highlight related issues, and generally used where one is superseded by another9 votes -
Ability to select what fields should be included in a (detailed) report.
Currently if I create a detailed test report it shows all fields even if I want them hidden from the report (eg: test case revision history and other custom fields not relevant for that report)

Add more data types/field formats to custom fields
For custom field use, add more field formats such as:
* time (hh:mm)
* External Link (URL)
* Multiple hierarchy levels in a linked list and not just one parent-child (also grandchildren etc)
*link other data types to a parent list
(eg: if you select A from parent list then a text field appears instead of only a child list)9 votesIf something is still missing and important to you, then please open a new User Voice.

In addition to "time/effort" field (Asked by Kylie) please add a new graph: X axe will be the SUM of the Time/Effort.
In addition to "time/effort" field (Asked by Kylie) please add the following graph:
X axe will represent the SUM of the Time/Effort , Y axe will represent the instance run status in order to estimate how much TIME left to end of cycle and not only how MANY tests left.9 votes -
Mass import multiple issues from Jira based on a specific Jira filter, project, status, etc...
Currently the only way to import issues from Jira (stories, bugs, tasks, etc...) is either one by one (or type multiple ticket numbers in the import field) or by exporting from Jira to a spreadsheet and importing. It would be nice to be able to import tickets by type, date range, status, specific jira filter, specific sprint, etc...

Change value name
Custom Fields Customization missing edit value name, you can only add or delete value.
9 votesHI,
Kindly note that we added the option you’ve requested for.
From now on you will be able to rename values within ‘list’ custom fields and the updated value/s will be updated in all the entities using them including Dashboards & Reports.
Thanks for making PractiTest better.

in REST API allow creating a new test that covers an existing requirement
The REST API lets us create requirements with mappings to test ids. The typical use case is for requirements to be defined and then QA dev creates the associated test cases. The user interface allows the workflow, but the REST API does not.
9 votesHi,
Kindly note that this option was added into the system.
Please see traceability sections for more information in our REST API documentation below:

enhance 2 way integration with Jira
It would be utmost useful to be able to see any comments devs make in Jira on a bug so that Qa can see it in Practitest. Not just name, description and status.

Please provide 'Import test' feature available within a Test set.
Currently, we import test cases and test cases are uploaded in test library then, when we create a test set then we need to find out our test cases and link with the test set.
It's little tedious task to find out test cases when there are more than 100 and add to test set.
Please add import test feature within a test set.7 votesThis was released and currently you can add a number of test from the test library into a number of Test Sets at the same time.
