  1. Currently I can import the requirements (eg: 1,2,3) and the tests (eg: 101, 102,103) but I cannot import the links between the two and need to link them manually. I'd like to be able to import the mappings by creating a csv file.
    eg:
    Req, Test
    1, 101
    2, 102
    3, 103

  2. When preparing a "Test set", sometimes we need to give extra informations about the "Set" we prepare with other builders and testers.
It would provide us the ability to share informations such as the purpose of the "set" or any extra data needed to execute the test.

And more, having a "comment" section in each "Set" would be helpful to share informations between testers and those who build the "Set".

New TestSet design now has both a Description field and a Comments section.

  3. Right now, typing a word into "Tags" field will bring up tag suggestions, which is nice and useful, but it is case-sensitive at the moment.

For example, if the tag is "Billing" and I type "bill" without uppercase on the first character, the suggestion will not come up. I have to type it with capital B for the suggestion to come up.

  5. We currently manage our requirements, tests, and bugs with PractiTest, but our automation is organized, managed, and run independently.

We'd like to have both on the same system.

  6. When in the middle of adding additional steps the save button is all the way at the top. Having a second save button at the bottom of the page would save a little time from scrolling all the way up.

  7. It will be useful for the users to have a option to copy whole steps (description & expected Result) from an existing test to a new one.

  8. Add an alert when user is leaving a page without saving.
right now a user can change fields, and navigate to a different page without any system alert.

  10. Allow to make changes to the steps of a test while it is still running.

For example add or remove steps, or modify the any of the fields.

  11. Currently, by cloning a test, the
Author is copied from the original test.
This may cause confusion when users clone tests and modify them.
Setting the cloner as the Cloned Tests' Author will solve this issue.

  13. It would be good if the table cell or text for the requirement status is colour coded to make it easy to identify requirements which are not covered, not ran etc.

    Hi,

Kindly note that this feature request was completed. From now on requirement statuses are capitalized and accompanied with relevant icons.

    Best regards,
    Christine

  14. I want to add attachments to a step in the test run via the API. The attachment could be a screenshot or other helpful information.

This is already supported through the GUI but not the API.

  16. Would be nice to have a global search/replace string within a project for tests. Last minute code implementations could necessitate 100's of test case step updates to keep the tests current.

  17. Auto Filters are a great idea, however, the default name limits their usage.
I know that the Auto Filter is unique on the same level of the hierarchy, yet, I want to let my Test Managers decide how to name them.

Plus, there might be a confusing situation in which someone creates an Auto Filter and makes it private - then another user cannot create such Auto Filter at all and gets a "name is already taken" message, which is confusing.
