  1. The Delete Filter button has no confirmation and just deletes filters instantly. Very likely for a misclick to have very bad consequences. Could you add confirmation question (Are you sure -> YES/NO). Also could implement an information email, which will inform the user who own this filter that this filter

    has been deleted.

    Hi,

Kindly note that from now on you are able to create a report of type ‘tabular with steps’ displaying tests with their steps from the specific filter by using the new Reporting module.

To access it, please go to Reports. Please note that the reports can be downloaded as Excel and data will reside in the second sheet.

Thanks and have a great week!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  11. Would be nice to have a global search/replace string within a project for tests. Last minute code implementations could necessitate 100's of test case step updates to keep the tests current.

  12. Currently I can import the requirements (eg: 1,2,3) and the tests (eg: 101, 102,103) but I cannot import the links between the two and need to link them manually. I'd like to be able to import the mappings by creating a csv file.
    eg:
    Req, Test
    1, 101
    2, 102
    3, 103

  13. Exporting data from Practitest to Excel is a powerful feature. But it the data that is exported is limited. In particular, the traceability information would be a very useful addition.

    Hi,

Kindly note that you can create a tabular report for Tests in the new Reporting module in order to see this information.

  15. A user should be able to rearrange projects in the dropdown menu. When the user has more than 10-15 projects, it would be nice to at least have them in alphabetical order.

  16. I would like to be able to customise reports from both the library level and the Test Set level, choosing fields that I want to report on. I currently find that I often have to extract data from PractiTest into Excel and then format reports from Excel.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your patience.

Please note that we have also added the ability to create dashboard graphs for Test Instances with taking values from Tests and Test Sets. Just select Test: or Test Set: when creating graphs.

    Thanks,
    Yaniv

  18. Opened "New Issue"
    Inserted a title
    Attached a 2.91MB file

Expected result: An error message would appear and the file would attach unsuccessfully

Actual result: The file attaches successfully

There seems to be a definition error, the definition says "* Up to 2MB per File Attachment" yet I successfully attached a 2.91 file as shown here:

  20. For teams which are very familiar with the system under test it is not necessary for the test case to include steps. PractiTest does not accomodate for this practice because:
    1. It never shows the test description, only the title;
    2. It always shows steps, even when there are none.

I propose adding the test description to the initial screen (the one with the "Run test" button"

When a test set run is started, PractiTest shows a screen with a "Run test" button. There is a lot of room in this screen that could benefit hugely if the test description…
