    Hi Sandaru,

    Thanks for contacting us.

Probably there is a small misunderstanding here.

Kindly note that in case you would like to see steps of the test case residing in the Test Library, you need to enter it in the Test Library and go to its Steps tab.

In case you ran a test case and would like to see steps residing in a specific run, please enter the run itself.

In addition sending you screenshots by email.

    Best regards,
    Christine

  3. Currently it looks like which ever custom filed is linked to an entity appears left most in tests in a test run. Allow custom fields to be ordered.

Why - I want to put important, or most used, fields to the left.

    Hi Robert,

Kindly note that you can re-order custom fields by going to Settings – Fields – Custom Fields Display Order Customization: – select relevant entity and set order you wish.

    Thanks
    Christine

  4. Allow a test set to be created with test cases with custom variables set from parameters.

I want to create a test run/set that runs a single test case of different OSs or combinations of products. It is great to add the OSs and products as lists. Now I want to run all combinations.

Important - I want to be able to search my test runs by custom variables. When did we last run test N on OS X and products A-B?

  6. Like the current ability to add attachments to Tests, would like to ability to add documents to Test Set Pages so that a suite of tests also has accompanying documentation in 1 spot.

  8. We want to add custom fields in the test run level. Fields for our testers to report about the test quality. The testers run a test, and before clicking "Run next test" they have to fill in some info about test quality, as a mandatory field.
Now they fill in the info in the last step "Actual test result", but often they forget to do it. Therefore it would be great to have mandatory custom fields on that level.

  9. Question #22 has "B+C are correct" as the B option, so it doesn't make sense to choose that one, yet the test results say that it should have been selected.

  12. Currently the importing process imports whatever records are correct and provides information regarding the records that couldn't be imported. Although this is fine, the user is then left with two options:
    1. Cut and paste the failed records from the original file, correct them and try importing the new file

    or

    1. Delete all imported records, correct the original file and repeat the importing process.

I propose adding a functionality which would allow the user to rollback the last imported records, allowing him to correct the whole original file and retry. This would allow the imported test cases (for instance) to…

  13. For teams which are very familiar with the system under test it is not necessary for the test case to include steps. PractiTest does not accomodate for this practice because:
    1. It never shows the test description, only the title;
    2. It always shows steps, even when there are none.

I propose adding the test description to the initial screen (the one with the "Run test" button"

When a test set run is started, PractiTest shows a screen with a "Run test" button. There is a lot of room in this screen that could benefit hugely if the test description…

  18. I can't find any way to link a Requirement to an Exploratory Test run. This is an essential step in testing that PractiTest covers well in a full test run, but it's valuable and important for my QA team to move towards unscripted testing of requirements in the right situations. When this happens, we can't close the loop on our Jira stories without being able to import them as a Requirement and link it to an ET Test Run.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feature request.

Kindly note that we have recently implemented improvements to the Exploratory Testing module so that you can now link ET tests to requirements and then run them.

    Thanks for making PractiTest better.

    Best regards,
    Yaniv
