  1. It should be possible to set a particular test step to N/A. If this result is defined for that test step and the other test steps have status approve, then the complete test should get status passed. Now the tester has to set that single test step to either not run (which causes the complete test to have staus not completed) or delete the particular test step (to make the complete run to have status passed). Not any of these work arounds are satisfying for the Test Manager.

  2. Modify testcases using Batch Edit.and verify does it logged changes in History.Currently,it does log history at individual level not at batch level.I also would like to suggest,In History tab,it should display recent changes at first.currently it shows recent changes at bottom.

    Hi,

From now and on you will have record for actions you made via Batch Edit in the History tab. ‘updated via batch edit’ will be written for changes were made via Batch Edit.

    Best regards,
    Christine

  3. Opened "New Issue"
    Inserted a title
    Attached a 2.91MB file

Expected result: An error message would appear and the file would attach unsuccessfully

Actual result: The file attaches successfully

There seems to be a definition error, the definition says "* Up to 2MB per File Attachment" yet I successfully attached a 2.91 file as shown here:

  5. A user should be able to rearrange projects in the dropdown menu. When the user has more than 10-15 projects, it would be nice to at least have them in alphabetical order.

  11. The Delete Filter button has no confirmation and just deletes filters instantly. Very likely for a misclick to have very bad consequences. Could you add confirmation question (Are you sure -> YES/NO). Also could implement an information email, which will inform the user who own this filter that this filter

    has been deleted.

    Hi Maria,

We would like to update you that your feature request is completed and now available in PractiTest.
When you click on the delete button in Filters, a confirmation window pops up in order to confirm the deletion.

    Best regards,
    Itai

    Hi,

Kindly note that we added the ‘Save’ keyboard shortcut to the tool. Thus you will be able to use it within entities instead of pressing the button.

Thanks and have a nice day!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  13. It would be really helpful if the users can generate the detailed report using the filters present in test set, example, generating a detailed test report only for the blocked test cases from a particular test set

  14. Custom Fields can store important stuff from past and present executions. Currently there is no confirmation when deleting them. If you missclick you may deleted not the field you want and loose data. Additional confirmation should be added to increase safety here.

  16. We are managing our test cases with Tabular report with Requirement matrix. Detail matrix report is very large and confusing. It would be possible to add Tracebility option in Tabular Type reports.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your patience.

Kindly note that we have recently released this type of report. Please go to Reports – New Report – Requirement entity – Tabular Traceability.

    Thanks,
    Yaniv

  18. Currently only "Pass all Steps" option is available on execution.
Would be great if we could do that for whatever execution status.

  19. Right now every team has multiple sprints and we have created a custom field as sprint of type list. In that, we have list items as [28, 29, 30] like that. Now to display each of these sprints with filters we have to create a filter for each one of them. Can there be a process to autogenerate these filters?. Otherwise, the process becomes very manual and cumbersome
