Project Overview Summary
There should be a project summary section on Summary Home page, which Overview the whole project, such as Project Name, Project Start date, Project End Date, Estimates Time (All Runs), Actual TIme (All Runs), Assigned to, Project Closure Notes / Comments, etc.

Along these lines, I'd like a place to store links to project-related documents, like design docs, test environments, support matrices, etc.

A project description would be really useful + an extension of the number or characters in the project title (why does it have to be limited ?)
