Fix issue of exported report PDF number / bullet lists
Since the time Practitest allowed rich text markup in test step description / expected result, it has caused some new issues to PDF report exporting that all the number list / bullet points would have become plain text with line breaks only.

Kindly note that the new Reports allow to create detailed reports for Tests where lists are displayed correctly.
At this time the new reports are available to download as Excel, but we are planning to release PDF option soon. Please go to Reports, to access them.

Add the ability to view Test Steps directly from Test Sets
Now, the only thing we can do to view Test Steps from Test Sets is by:
1. Clicking the instance
2. Click "Test in Test Library"which means we can only see steps for a particular test at a time.
I'd suggest that you add the ability to view Test Steps directly from Test Sets, maybe by implementing display popover? Or maybe add another page that allows us to view all steps in all the tests in a certain test set. Thanks!

Creation of filter via the API
We want to be able to create filters from the API

"Show popular tags" like a dropdown
The current view is not very useful. We cannot see all the existing tags.

Add Tag's to dashboards Items (x / y fields, or group by tags)
I need to create a pie chart (or similar) in order to display the Issues reported by team 1 vs team 2.
Those teams are identified by tags.
Currently, I have to create 2 different board items: one for team 1 and another for team 2, in order to display the issues reported by each one and compare them. However, what we need is a only one board with all the issues, group by these tags.

In this case we would recommend to use custom fields instead of tags, hence you will be able to create dashboard graphs per values in these fields.

Update Run Status after execution
Sometimes we don't find some errors on execution time, and they are discovered later (by the client or others). We need to link that Issue to an already executed Run Status and also update the status to FAIL. Currently it cannot be done without the creation of another test set and/or a different execution.
Maybe it could be added as a PractiTest Labs option. On that way we can decided if we allow or not this feature.

According to the scenario you described it seems to be a new run (execution) as you/your team members detected the issue after the previous run.
Having said that if you prefer to change run status and to link the issue, you can always get back to a previous run and made according changes (when you are entering a Test Set – test instance – you will see runs of this instance that you can enter again if you wish).

Add the ability to create automated permutations in a single test set
For example if I had a test set that examine Log In screen.
and I also have fields of OS/APP NAME/COUNTRY/(WIFI/3G)
I can automatically create tests of
Android + Preactiapp + USA + WIFI

Failed testcase status should update in JIRA, once it passed
When I failed a testcases and create/link a defect, JIRA bug automatically shows the Failed test step. But later, after bug fix, when I ran the same test again and pass the defect, Jira bug is not showing the pass status, still showing old Failed test cases.

Allow just one or some Steps from a Test be added to a Test Set
Right now it's not possible to add just one Step to a Test Set/Run. In situations where just part of a Test needs to be run (because a small change was made or part of the area might be affected by something else and should be regression tested), the tester has to mark many Steps as NA. It would be easier to choose just the Steps that are in scope for testing from an are that a Test covers.
Example: A Test covers a form page, and a code change updates one of the radio button options. That radio button…

Pass and Filters
1) Have the actual result default to the expected result when a user clicks Pass. Add a Pass All button so if the user can Pass the entire test in one click.
2) When creating the filters instead of only a Save option have a Save and Add next option because now when you save it, you have to go back to settings and start again.

In PractiTest we strongly recommend customers to use Custom Filters (https://www.practitest.com/help/settings/custom-filters/) that allow to sort information in every module: the Requirements module, the Test Library, the Test Sets & Runs module and the Issues module.
Also we allow to add all tests residing under a specific filter to a Test Set.

Add option to collapse/expand steps that calls steps from other test cases in test set&runs
Having the option to create a test case and call other test cases as steps is great feature. When you include that test in test set & run and start executing it then all steps from the called tests will be automatically displayed. This means if i called on my test , 4 other tests each with 10 steps , then my test will start with over 40 steps configuration. That makes the test heavy and all of that information might be useless for some people who can understand the whole test case only from the title. In order to…
14 votesThe idea of this function is to copy the steps as an integral part of the test. For what you are describing it may make more sense to create a test set that includes these tests and then you can choose to use the FAST RUN option in case you don’t want to go into the tests and execute the steps one by one.

Add the ability to add customize filters in the table grid also in "All Tests".
We need to show up fields in all tests grid view and drop-down list on column caption with all options / to customize the table view. According to selected option grid view will be filtered.

We have reviewed the request and unfortunately have to decline it as did not detect enough reasoning behind it.
Kindly note that you can create filters in the ‘filters’ section that won’t be sub-filters and will include all tests residing in the Test Library as you are not obliged to put filter criteria when creating a filter and you can choose only custom fields to display if needed.

Reorder TestCases in Test Library
The user should able to sort the TestCases for a project in the Test Library.
This will be easier for us enduser to make a TestSet that have the same type of testcases in a row.

Implement a richer Integration
Custom integration is far from confusing. I'm trying to integrate with leantesting.com for defect tracking and the two required fields are not enough to complete this integration. How do I specify an outside project ID or any other variables?
