Allow the user to reorder the test ids in the Test Library
The ID's in the Test Library are order generated so the user should be allowed to reorder the tests.
1 voteHi Scott,
Thanks for your feature request.
Kindly note that it is already possible to reorder test cases according to custom fields you have.
Could you specify according to what criteria you would like to re-order tests?
Thanks and awaiting your reply.

Be able to upload attachments via API when sending results from automated testing
Sending results directly from the API right after an execution of a test ends would be useful to have more information about each test run.
Eg using selenium+python, you first create a junit xml report after the execution and then post it to PractiTest through the API request, so that you won't have to add it manually yourself.

Thanks for posting your idea.
Did you try to use the ‘data/files/data’ parameter that enables to send attachments?
Thanks

Report inactive users
Have a report showing the users that have not logged in for a configurable amount of time.
For example, all users that have not logged in for the last 3 months.
Thanks,

Links in Practitest that redirect out of the system should be opened in a new tab
When I import Requirements from Pivotal, we use that Integration, or I create a new test linked to a Requirement, it is pretty nice that I have the link to the requirement. But, when I click on the Requirement link, I got out of Practitest and redirected in the same tab, to the Requirement.
For a better User Experience, and it is a standard in Web Design, when you link to sites that are not under your system, they are opened in a new tab. I don't want to go out from my Test ticket in Practitest but I want…1 vote -

Provide templates to save criteria for future use
I would like to be able to save criteria/views, etc.s throughout the application. When I create a filter for projects I select the same criteria for each filter I create. I would like the ability to save it, so I do not have to select the fields each time. The same for the column views on instances and the fields selected for reports. This also would need to available across projects.

Dependently visible custom fields
Like dependent lists it would be good to have custom fields that only appear (are visible) if an item is selected in a list. This reduces the number of custom fields that the user needs to select.
For example, if the selection in a list is "other" make a text field visible to enter the custom whatever. Otherwise show a dependent list.

Filtering on calendar periods
I need to create calendar period reports for management. It would be very useful if we had Last Calendar Week, This Calendar Week, Last Calendar Month, This Calendar Month, This Year, Last Year, etc. as options for filtering. Currently, you need to do this as a range of dates each time.

Clicking on Test description and able to edit the description without clicking on the pencil
User should be able to edit any field that has a pencil when they click inside the text box. This is very helpful as we are working with Jira all the time.

Enable sorting on the columns in the pop-up to add test cases to test sets
When adding test cases to test sets, the pop-up you have to select them in has no option to sort the listed test cases - which makes us very dependent on detailed filters or the list becomes hard to work with for us with +10 sub-pages to click between to find the right test case.
We suggest to enable sorting on the columns, so we can sort by name or ID.1 voteWe want to improve the control to add test to test sets and sorting (as well as filtering) is part of the approach we are reviewing.
Thanks for your suggestion!

Defining custom views per a mandatory field test cases have
Say you have a mandatory field named 'Feature' in test cases. You might want to create a view named Features according to the value the Feature field has.
Currently you have to specify a view for each value of Feature.
Moreover, if you have a new feature, you have to add it manually to the filter.0 votes -
Give reviewer the option to give a comment
We want to able our MP give feedback about the tests.
the problem is the comment permission and the edit permission are the same one.0 votes -
Auto save Assigner when "Run Now" on TestSet
On Test Set view there is an option to assign to specific Tester. In order to do it you need to choose Tester and Save view. So if you want to run a test set you need to: 1. assign it to yourself 2. save 3. run. I think step 3 is not needed. Run Now could also save changes or at least Assigner.
