  2. We would like our customers to have a filtered list of new features or defects that we are currently working on. We would like to have a RSS or XML feed out of PractiTest that we could take and display like a dashboard on our corporate website.

  5. In case an issue related to test we will see a "green bug" indication.
I think for better test planning you should provide different indication for open/fixed/close issues so I will now if to run this test and its priority.

Generally better correlation between Issues and test sets is needed.

  7. This would make it easy to base new filters of existing one without having to redo parts such as which fields are shown in filter results and how they are sorted.

  8. Currently Test Library available fields are:
Id, Folder, Name, Status, Run Status, Last Run, Last Modified, Steps count and Actions.

We have to add "Folder Path" field to set above.

    Hi Vadim,

I presume you are talking about ability to create a custom field of ‘URL’ type, but please send us screenshots and your explanation.

    Best regards,
    Christine

  9. Need a warning when creating a test case if the name is already in use. This should be an option in settings, since I know some testers don't need this. However with my team, each name needs to be unique. So having a warning when we are duplicating a test name would be helpful.

  10. I would like to search in a broader context, not just in a specific project, but search through all the projects

  11. As a tester when I would like to be able to set tests to 'Part passed' (i.e passed with minor issues). This would be useful for so that minor issues, that do not block the release can be reported against a test and do not get lost, and reports can also be run showing a 'passed' status. The test does not completely pass, but you do not want it to show as a big red fail in a report - the issues that remain do not block the release

    Hi Clare,

Thanks for your feature request. We will review it and get back to you.

In the meantime you can fail & issue step in order to report a new bug and then to change Failed status to Passed.

Thanks again and have a good day!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  12. this will be useful when we would like to show what is the expected results for example or if there is an issue just take a screenshot and show it to our development team
instead of having to save the screenshot and adding it to the issue ...

this will be useful also for showing screenshots of the tests and expected results

    Thanks.

  13. When we find an issue testing for a specific JIRA we create subtasks under that jira. Practitest is creating new JIRA but not subtasks so we have to go back in and update each JIRA to assign it correctly. This should be an option in configuration.

  14. Currently all columns are not filtered. We can't sort by test ID, nor linked issues, nor test duration. Is there any plan for that ?

furthermore, we can sort the columns, but if we enter a test and come back to the instances list, the sorting is lost, it would be nice to keep it .
    thanks

  15. Add ability to define a step as a non-critical step, and thus a failure on this step would not fail the test.

  18. The requirements status field shows if requirements are linked to tests. However, it doesn't show if they are linked to tests with status of ready rather than draft. If we had a field for this (perhaps requirements coverage status) we could see clearly how many requirements were linked to properly specified tests. The field could have values 'tests - ready', 'tests - draft' on 'no tests'.

  19. I want to set up a view of requirements to show just the detailed requirements (those that have a parent) and not the high level ones. This could be done in a view if it were possible to say parent is not empty. However, the parent field is not available when defining a view.

  20. When you assign a priority or severity to an issue it is important to know the definition of the categories (high, medium etc.). These could be different for each project. Could we have the facility to put some explanatory notice onto the screen where you log an issue? Perhaps it could be a type of project field (similar to memo) but with default text that is set up by the administrator and cannot be changed by the user. Even better would be to have something to click on (like a help symbol) to pop up the definition.
