  2. We use parents in our requirements so from Requirements I always view as a Tree. When I am in a test case and click the Traceability tab to link to a requirement and I use "Show Requirements" it only shows me a flat list in ID order so I have to maintain an XLS cheat sheet to add so I can see in tree view. It would be a GREAT enhancement to PractiTest to be able to choose Tree View from the Test Case Traceability tab on Show Requirements and save me a ton of time. Thanks :)

  3. When new users are added they are initially set up with the time set to UTC (GMT). For most users this is not appropriate and they need to go into settings to set their own time zone. This even applies to users in the UK who need to select London in order to get the daylight saving time applied automatically in the summer. If we could have the facility for an administrator to set the default time zone for an account then most new users would be set up with the right time.

  4. There should be a project summary section on Summary Home page, which Overview the whole project, such as Project Name, Project Start date, Project End Date, Estimates Time (All Runs), Actual TIme (All Runs), Assigned to, Project Closure Notes / Comments, etc.

  5. As a tester, I would like to be able to use the 'linked bug' flag in a filter selection criteria on tests
This would enable me to find tests that may have been marked as 'passed' as they meet the release criteria, but still may have minor issues outstanding against them. i.e. create a filter of tests that have a linked bugs regardless of the test 'run status'.

  6. Add more filtering options like: "has"(If a searched text is a part of the entire text), "greater\ less than"(for integers), "Doesn't have"(same as the "has" but the opposite), etc.

  9. Is it possible to add the following feature to the 2 way integration with YouTrack.
Once user add steps to requirement that was linked to YouTrack, the steps will be displayed in the YouTrack ticket as well.

As currently exist in the JIRA 2 way integration.

    Thanks

  10. I would like to be able to see (and report on) the issue titles and the issue ID number, for issues that are linked to tests (this is especially important for projects that do not have a 2 way issue integration)
If just the issue ID is shown, it means always having to spend time looking up what that issue is.
It is also important to be able to export & print a list of this information and would also be useful to be able to create a filter which allows it to be shown on dashboards.

  11. When editing a testset usually you have to navigate through a number of test listing pages of a specific view you have already selected. When you are doing this, the most comfortable setting is to hide the views box because the box is only taking space you need to fully read the tests names. However, each time you change between pages, the views box is made visible again (which is very annoying). I propose you keep the state of the views box when the page is changed. If it is hidden, then it should stay hidden until you need it…

  12. It would be useful to have some kind of text summary next to graph in Dashboard:

Example: "this and that test was failed because issue-x (minor), but the build is still released."

Could you please add this feature to the Dashboard?

  14. For example:
I have 1 Custom field browser (list) that have some values in it (Chrome, Firefox Safari etc.)
I set that custom field on the screen:
    - Test
    - Instance
    - Issue

When I Create new Test and I set the Browser: Firefox when im done with the Test --> Il Create TestSet & Instance = When im in the instance screen I see the Custom field Browser thats already filled in with 'Firefox' that I have selected in the screen Test.

Start the instance and there is a Issue --> Create an Issue, Open the Issue screen and…

  16. Support multiple page edit in the test instance grid like we have in the test library grid OR batch edit for all instances in a filter

  17. When I was setting up test folder, I would click on the + sign and start typing. Then I would look and realize that I was not really typing in any field. Please make sure the Folder Name field is active when creating new folder. That was the user does not have to click in the field (the only field) to name it and move on.

  18. Include in Batch Edit for Test Library the possibility to add a requirement to several Tests at the same time.

On the same way, Include in Batch Edit for Requirements the possibility to add a Test to several requirements at the same time.

Currently it has to be done one by one.

    Hi Angela,

    Thanks for your feature request.

Kindly note that you can add requirements, tests via the ‘Traceability’ tab, but that’s correct that you need to add one by one.

We have a similar feature request where customers asking about ability to add all tests/requirements residing in a specific filter to a test/requirement. This feature is similar to the feature we have in Test Sets & Runs when you can add all tests residing in a filter to Test Set.

Will this feature work for you?

    Best regards,
    Christine

  19. When using the Redmine 2-way integration, currently users need to go back to Redmine in order to see the bug list or in order to edit the bugs.

It would be very helpful if Practitest users would be able to view and edit the bugs from the "Issues" tab or even view them on the different dashboard widgets.
