Memorize show/hide selection when selecting tests for a TestSet
When editing a testset usually you have to navigate through a number of test listing pages of a specific view you have already selected. When you are doing this, the most comfortable setting is to hide the views box because the box is only taking space you need to fully read the tests names. However, each time you change between pages, the views box is made visible again (which is very annoying). I propose you keep the state of the views box when the page is changed. If it is hidden, then it should stay hidden until you need it…

Improve Fogbugz Integration (Push data to and from Pracitest)
(1) link test cases to externally stored requirements (In fogbugz) and push the externally stored requirement data into Practitest requirements for reporting/dashboard.
(2) Add a Push link next to the Defects field in the Test Run Result screen which pushes a bug report to the external system (FogBugz) without leaving Practitest and make a copy in 'Issues' at the same time for reporting/dashboard.
(3) Hyperlinks to externally held data if only linking to issues/requirements in the external system and not pushing data to and fro (hovering the mouse cursor over a fogbugz case ID in either issues or requirements screen…3 votes -
Redmine 2-way integration: Allow viewing and editing bugs from Practitest
When using the Redmine 2-way integration, currently users need to go back to Redmine in order to see the bug list or in order to edit the bugs.
It would be very helpful if Practitest users would be able to view and edit the bugs from the "Issues" tab or even view them on the different dashboard widgets.

Option to add text in Dashboard
It would be useful to have some kind of text summary next to graph in Dashboard:
Example: "this and that test was failed because issue-x (minor), but the build is still released."
Could you please add this feature to the Dashboard?

Add the 'linked bug' flag to the filter selection criteria on tests
As a tester, I would like to be able to use the 'linked bug' flag in a filter selection criteria on tests
This would enable me to find tests that may have been marked as 'passed' as they meet the release criteria, but still may have minor issues outstanding against them. i.e. create a filter of tests that have a linked bugs regardless of the test 'run status'.3 votes -
Traceability into Batch Edit
Include in Batch Edit for Test Library the possibility to add a requirement to several Tests at the same time.
On the same way, Include in Batch Edit for Requirements the possibility to add a Test to several requirements at the same time.
Currently it has to be done one by one.
3 votesHi Angela,
Thanks for your feature request.
Kindly note that you can add requirements, tests via the ‘Traceability’ tab, but that’s correct that you need to add one by one.
We have a similar feature request where customers asking about ability to add all tests/requirements residing in a specific filter to a test/requirement. This feature is similar to the feature we have in Test Sets & Runs when you can add all tests residing in a filter to Test Set.
Will this feature work for you?

Make the Folder name field active when a user is creating a new folder.
When I was setting up test folder, I would click on the + sign and start typing. Then I would look and realize that I was not really typing in any field. Please make sure the Folder Name field is active when creating new folder. That was the user does not have to click in the field (the only field) to name it and move on.
3 votesHi Vicki,
Thanks for your feature request.
Regardless we would recommend you to use Filters instead of folders as they allow you to create more flexible structure and when you delete filter, it won’t delete data residing in it as happens to folders.
Please see more information about that on a page below:

Add Test Description on Test Set run view
We discussed it with Joel during his visit in Cambridge, UK. It would be beneficial to see Test Description on Test Set Run view (above the steps). Test Descrption contains essential test information and having them visible on this screen would help to understand the context of the steps without need to click multiple times to see it. Hoovering in upper right corner shows that, however it is unreadable in some cases.
3 votesHi Kuba,
We would like to update you that we added a new System Field – “Pre Conditions”, which now available to use.
Although this is not exactly what you meant in your request, you should know that you can find this field above the first step of your test, so it can be useful for your purpose.
By the way, another option is to hover “Test in Test Library” while running and see all the values that given for entire fields, include the Test Description field.Hope this will be helpful.
Thanks,

show/print issue title & ID, for tests with linked issues
I would like to be able to see (and report on) the issue titles and the issue ID number, for issues that are linked to tests (this is especially important for projects that do not have a 2 way issue integration)
If just the issue ID is shown, it means always having to spend time looking up what that issue is.
It is also important to be able to export & print a list of this information and would also be useful to be able to create a filter which allows it to be shown on dashboards.3 votes -
