    Hi,

Thank you for your feature request.

We are currently working on a new version of the reports engine where we are planning to add the feature you request.

    Best regards,
    Christine

  3. Make it possible to show the JIRA status of a story which was imported using the JIRA plugin. for example, if a story is accepted on JIRA, we should see this updated in the practitest requirement

  4. We think the following would improve the Jira integration tremendously if implemented:
    - In the auto generated issue description (when clicking fail & issue) include the expected result

    • Make linking existing issues less cumbersome. At the moment users need to:
      1) Add the ID
      2) Navigate to the issue
      3) Edit it with the pt_id
      4) refresh in the step
This should all ideally done by PT (itself + the Jira plugin)

    • Full 2 way integration: add a tab in Jira that lists hyperlinks of all the linked PT tests (other tools such as QMetry do this)

  5. We purchased PractiTest with the assumption there is a one way integration with Assembla. We have had to turn this off as it creates more manual work for our team.

    Please could you address:
-When Assembla ticket is updated so is PractiTest
-Show Issues that have been created and linked to Assembla

  6. We need to export Reports where the order is not always according to the ID (Mainly Detailed).

Would be great to add a "Order by" option at Filters, Reports configuration.

    Thanks

  8. After clicking 'Fail & Issue', a JIRA ticket is created with the 'Summary' field populated automatically with "Bug reported from test: " followed by the test name. This can make the name unnecessarily long or potentially not follow existing naming conventions for a particular JIRA project. It would be nice to set a custom value for this pre-populated text, instead of editing it manually each time. For example, I use "PT Report: " as an abbreviated version. A company might want an even shorter code.

It might also be a handy feature to choose to put this text at the…

  9. It would be nice to be able to edit custom fields on filtered lists, as you can with the default system fields. For example, we use Severity and Priority for Issues, and it's very ease to edit the priority on the list for existing issues.

There are a number of steps required to do this for the custom severity field by way of having to use the edit function.

  10. Currently, linked lists only support standard lists as the child item. There should be an option to add both lists types as the child of a linked list.

  11. We have encountered situation when I have edited the Tests while my colleague had it open and editing. I have saved the changes first and when he saved his, mine were lost. It is quite a big problem in distributed large teams. Please take a look.

  12. Sometimes we need to create a fast report just for one Test and/or Test Set.

Would be great allow the generation of a Report directly after the execution of the test, without a filter in order to select just one Test, or Test Set, adding a report action into the Test Instances options or similar.

    Regards

  14. We are struggling with getting the result we are after using Search even with all the new filtering options available. We have tried filters and reports but they are all IS or IS NOT vs Contains. In a support chat, using Tags was recommended to us and we are trying it but we cannot display the "Tags" column to the Test Library view; it's not available. This would be incredibly helpful to us if this were added. Thank you.

  17. I have tests with many, many steps in them. Some of the steps take many minutes to complete. It would be very useful if I could update the execution status/results/attachments of particular steps via the API.

Possibly via a PUT request to the appropriate step instance, or maybe to the Run instance.

  19. When new users are added they are initially set up with the time set to UTC (GMT). For most users this is not appropriate and they need to go into settings to set their own time zone. This even applies to users in the UK who need to select London in order to get the daylight saving time applied automatically in the summer. If we could have the facility for an administrator to set the default time zone for an account then most new users would be set up with the right time.

  20. Currently the filters all display alphabetically unfortunately we don't always work this way, It would be helpful to allow you to set the order manually or just use drag and drop to organize them
