  1. I'd like a TestSet that updates itself automatically based on a filter I create in tests

Lets say I have in Tests, a filter

    "V1.9" and add 20 tests
I then create a test set and link it to Tests/V1.9
20 tests are now in the test set

I add 10 more tests to Tests/V1.9 and now I have all 30 tests in my test set

  2. Currently all columns are not filtered. We can't sort by test ID, nor linked issues, nor test duration. Is there any plan for that ?

furthermore, we can sort the columns, but if we enter a test and come back to the instances list, the sorting is lost, it would be nice to keep it .
    thanks

  3. At the moment, when I've created a new test I will leave it as 'draft' status until the feature comes available for me to test. However, I like to have my test sets organised and ready to go. It would be useful to have an option to only test the instances within a test set that have 'ready' status. This would save accidentally initiating tests for the instances that are not yet ready and are still in draft.

  6. Implement a Test Planning Module. This module would be used for test planning purposes. It would be useful in the beginning of the planning stages before actual test cases can be written but planning information can be submitted. It can link to a group of Test Sets and show an entire plan for Testing. For example you would create a Test Plan for the "1.0 Upgrade Project" Within the plan you could have various Phases of Testing with Timelines projected. TestSet Phase 1 runs from Jan 1 - Mar 1 and contains the following Tests and testing resources. Phase 2…

  7. Admins are the only ones allowed to add values but sometimes they are unavailable. Not every tester has admin rights. To react flexibly to changing requirements, testers should be able to create values.

  8. Hello,
Currently, there are no ways to Archive Dashboards in PractiTest. As a matter of urgency, please implement ways to Archive Dashboards in PractiTest?

For instance, some Teams on a 2-weeks per month Sprints would like to never delete their Dashboards, but keep them for future references to their Leadership team's consumption.

Without a Dashboard Archive feature in PT, the number of dashboards will go pretty fast; and will become difficult for the QA teams and their Leadership teams to navigate.

PT Team, please consider implementing Archive Dashboards feature in PractiTest.

    Thank you!

    Best regards,
    Felix

  9. I worked with Robot Framework and create a plugin for report tests into PractiTest
For the robot, precondition flow is an important part of the test, so such an option makes PractiTEst tests created from the robot more sense fully

  11. It would be appreciated if user could operate Dashboard items using the GUI operation. Since it makes easily to change dashboard item's position.

  12. Add ability to define a step as a non-critical step, and thus a failure on this step would not fail the test.

  15. The requirements status field shows if requirements are linked to tests. However, it doesn't show if they are linked to tests with status of ready rather than draft. If we had a field for this (perhaps requirements coverage status) we could see clearly how many requirements were linked to properly specified tests. The field could have values 'tests - ready', 'tests - draft' on 'no tests'.

  16. I want to set up a view of requirements to show just the detailed requirements (those that have a parent) and not the high level ones. This could be done in a view if it were possible to say parent is not empty. However, the parent field is not available when defining a view.

  17. When you assign a priority or severity to an issue it is important to know the definition of the categories (high, medium etc.). These could be different for each project. Could we have the facility to put some explanatory notice onto the screen where you log an issue? Perhaps it could be a type of project field (similar to memo) but with default text that is set up by the administrator and cannot be changed by the user. Even better would be to have something to click on (like a help symbol) to pop up the definition.

  18. It is possible to indicate if a test is blocked but it would also be really handy to be able to unblock a test when the obstacle has been removed. We could then see clearly the tests that are able to be run.

  20. If you run a testset and didn't finished him you won't be able to find out that unless you enter the specific testset, into a test and see which steps didn't run at all. also, you won't be able to know if a test is fully run - you can make only one step within test and exit - when you enter the testset you got indicator of the status of the test, but you can't tell if all steps are checked.
