Allow linking a requirement to an Exploratory Test run.
I can't find any way to link a Requirement to an Exploratory Test run. This is an essential step in testing that PractiTest covers well in a full test run, but it's valuable and important for my QA team to move towards unscripted testing of requirements in the right situations. When this happens, we can't close the loop on our Jira stories without being able to import them as a Requirement and link it to an ET Test Run.
0 votesHi,
Thanks for your feature request.
Kindly note that we have recently implemented improvements to the Exploratory Testing module so that you can now link ET tests to requirements and then run them.
Thanks for making PractiTest better.

Allow Linking an Existing Issue to an Exploratory Test
The Link Existing Issue functionality from normal Test Runs is not available when running an ET -- it would be hugely helpful if it was.
2 votesHi,
Thanks for your patience.
Kindly note that we added the ‘Link existing issue’ option to Exploratory Tests.
Thanks again and have a nice week!

Automatic filters when create/update fields
Filters are great! I use them a lot. I use fields too. It would be great if there would be possibility of creating or updating filters while creating/modifying fields. Ie. when you add new entry in field of List type you should have possibility of automatic filter based on that field update.
7 votesHi,
Kindly note that we have implemented Auto Filters that allow to create automatic filter trees according to List field values, find more information here:

Ability to create detailed reports using Filter option from Test sets and Runs
It would be really helpful if the users can generate the detailed report using the filters present in test set, example, generating a detailed test report only for the blocked test cases from a particular test set

Hi,
Kindly note that we added the ‘Save’ keyboard shortcut to the tool. Thus you will be able to use it within entities instead of pressing the button.
Thanks and have a nice day!

Specify the name of the deleted test case in the email notification send to the users.
When deleting a test case, now we receives an email from Practi Test. If you could specify which tests have I deleted in the email that would be useful for the user.

Propagate Test Set Fields to the Test Case and Related Issues Instances
Example: System Version (1.0, 2.0, 3.0) custom field added to the test set. If I want to compare the results of all test instances for each Test Set execution based on this field, I need to have that value that I would enter into the Test Set automatically populate any tests in the set, and any issues that are created in the execution. Right now you have to bulk change the test instances with the System Version in order for them to show up in dashboards.
6 votesHi all,
Putting this request to completed since there is no real need to propagate these fields as now you can generate reports and dashboard graphs with taking values from other entities as Test or Test Set.
Thanks,

Add conditional fields
Add the ability to make custom fields appear based on the input in other fields. For example, we have a custom list field called component that we use for grouping test items by feature. It would be helpful to have additional parameter fields appear if the tester selects a certain component.
3 votesHi Traiv,
Thanks for your feature request.
Actually we have already such a feature called ‘linked list’ custom field. See more information on the page below:

Filters Delete Problem
The Delete Filter button has no confirmation and just deletes filters instantly. Very likely for a misclick to have very bad consequences. Could you add confirmation question (Are you sure -> YES/NO). Also could implement an information email, which will inform the user who own this filter that this filter
has been deleted.
1 voteHi Maria,
We would like to update you that your feature request is completed and now available in PractiTest.
When you click on the delete button in Filters, a confirmation window pops up in order to confirm the deletion.Best regards,

Large combo box for selection to display all text
The combo box for multiple selection is too small so all the options are not visible and you have to scroll to search the appropriate option. This is annoying, especially when you want to select multiple options.
39 votesHi,
Kindly note that we changed the multi-list field appearance so that from now on there is the autocomplete option and all the values are displayed properly.
Thanks
