add save button to bottom of test steps entry screen
When in the middle of adding additional steps the save button is all the way at the top. Having a second save button at the bottom of the page would save a little time from scrolling all the way up.

Add the ability to select test cases from Test Library and ADD them to existing Test Sets
We now have the ability to Create test sets from test library, but it'd be nice to have the ability to also add tests to existing test sets from the test library. Thanks!

Please can we have feature to add a comment in actual results when fast run tests
When fast running several tests, it would be very helpful to be able to put a comment on the actual result field (of the first step) of each test.
eg) I am fast running several tests and marking them as blocked. I want to put the same comment on the first step of all the tests, saying 'Blocked due to feature not implemented yet'3 votes -
Auto creation of filters as per custom field values
Right now every team has multiple sprints and we have created a custom field as sprint of type list. In that, we have list items as [28, 29, 30] like that. Now to display each of these sprints with filters we have to create a filter for each one of them. Can there be a process to autogenerate these filters?. Otherwise, the process becomes very manual and cumbersome
1 voteHi,
Kindly note that we have implemented the Auto filters feature that allows to do exactly what you asked for.
Please find more information on help page below:

Make direct paste of screenshots possible.
Very often when we are executing a test we would like to attach a screenshot. In many test tools it’s possible just to copy and paste from a sniping tool, but in practitest it seems to be necessary to save the screenshot as a file and then upload this file. This is pretty cumbersome. I suggest that you implement such a feature.
95 votesYou can now paste directly to the attachments section on each step, as well as in the description fields in most areas in the system. You can also drag & drop to description fields any images and they will be embedded inside the text.

Provide function to create a report of just tests that have linked issues.
It's currently very difficult to filter/ pull out a report of just the tests that have linked issues to manage allocation of retests,
I currently have to do a detailed report of all tests and then click on the traceability filter, but this gives me all tests and a lot of data that I then have to manually filter out. I would also like to be able to see the description of the bug as well as the number.
I can't do this using filters either, as there is no way to add 'has linked bug' as a criteria to…3 votesHi,
Kindly note that we have implemented this feature so that you can create filters with criteria: ‘Linked issues’ IS NOT EMPTY within the Test LIbrary and then to apply the created filter when generating a report.

Block/Fail... all steps
Currently only "Pass all Steps" option is available on execution.
Would be great if we could do that for whatever execution status.1 voteHi Angela,

Requirements section - Create Test button
Allow the creation of a Test directly from the Requirement.
The test will be related to the requirement automatically to expedite the process.
3 votesHi Angela,
This feature is already in the system. Go to any requirements, in the traceability tab, in the section of LINKED TESTS, there is a button called Add New that does exactly what you are asking for.
Thanks,

Tabular matrix report
We are managing our test cases with Tabular report with Requirement matrix. Detail matrix report is very large and confusing. It would be possible to add Tracebility option in Tabular Type reports.
1 voteHi,
Thanks for your patience.
Kindly note that we have recently released this type of report. Please go to Reports – New Report – Requirement entity – Tabular Traceability.

Lossing comments in "Actual Result" field during test case execution
User losses his comments in "Actual Result" field when he forgets to save before clicking on Pass/Failed. It would be good if comments are automatically saved, if not display a warning message.
Thanks
5 votesHi,
Kindly note that from now on all the comments within the actual results will be saved automatically once you are leaving the comments window.
Thanks and have a great day!

Filter to get the Tests linked to a Requirement (N requirements)
We can already see that information through the Traceabilty, but currently I think that It's not possible to create a filter in order to get all the tests linked to a specific/s Requirement/s (for example, in order to create Test Sets for specifics requirements).
We need to create an extra field with a list of requirements (manually added), when this information already exists and we have duplicate information.
I think that the creation of tests by requirements is a very common way of work, and it's not easy to get right now.
Thanks.
6 votesHi,
Thanks for your patience.
Kindly note that we have recently added the ability to create filters with ‘Linked tests’, ‘Linked requirements’ and ‘Linked issues’ as available fields to filter by within the Test Library and the Requirements module.
Thus you will always know what entities linked to your requirements and tests (see a few screenshots attached).
Thanks for improving PractiTest.

enhance 2 way integration with Jira
It would be utmost useful to be able to see any comments devs make in Jira on a bug so that Qa can see it in Practitest. Not just name, description and status.

Ask before deleting Custom Field
Custom Fields can store important stuff from past and present executions. Currently there is no confirmation when deleting them. If you missclick you may deleted not the field you want and loose data. Additional confirmation should be added to increase safety here.

Params drop-down
Usually when we use Paramters we already have some set of possibilities in our minds. It would be perfect to have possibility of using drop-down list of possible parameters for given Instance.
