    Hi Sandaru,

    Thanks for contacting us.

Probably there is a small misunderstanding here.

Kindly note that in case you would like to see steps of the test case residing in the Test Library, you need to enter it in the Test Library and go to its Steps tab.

In case you ran a test case and would like to see steps residing in a specific run, please enter the run itself.

In addition sending you screenshots by email.

    Best regards,
    Christine

  4. It's currently very difficult to filter/ pull out a report of just the tests that have linked issues to manage allocation of retests,
I currently have to do a detailed report of all tests and then click on the traceability filter, but this gives me all tests and a lot of data that I then have to manually filter out. I would also like to be able to see the description of the bug as well as the number.
I can't do this using filters either, as there is no way to add 'has linked bug' as a criteria to…

    Hi,

Kindly note that we have implemented this feature so that you can create filters with criteria: ‘Linked issues’ IS NOT EMPTY within the Test LIbrary and then to apply the created filter when generating a report.

    Best regards,
    Yaniv

  5. When fast running several tests, it would be very helpful to be able to put a comment on the actual result field (of the first step) of each test.
eg) I am fast running several tests and marking them as blocked. I want to put the same comment on the first step of all the tests, saying 'Blocked due to feature not implemented yet'

    Hi Conor,

    Thanks for contacting us.

Kindly note that this feature already exists and you can create filter with criteria: “Name IS” and it will work as contains.

    Have a nice day!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  8. Currently only "Pass all Steps" option is available on execution.
Would be great if we could do that for whatever execution status.

  10. The combo box for multiple selection is too small so all the options are not visible and you have to scroll to search the appropriate option. This is annoying, especially when you want to select multiple options.

    Hi,

Kindly note that we changed the multi-list field appearance so that from now on there is the autocomplete option and all the values are displayed properly.

    Thanks
    Christine

  11. The Link Existing Issue functionality from normal Test Runs is not available when running an ET -- it would be hugely helpful if it was.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your patience.

Kindly note that we added the ‘Link existing issue’ option to Exploratory Tests.

Thanks again and have a nice week!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  12. It would be really helpful if the users can generate the detailed report using the filters present in test set, example, generating a detailed test report only for the blocked test cases from a particular test set

  14. I can't find any way to link a Requirement to an Exploratory Test run. This is an essential step in testing that PractiTest covers well in a full test run, but it's valuable and important for my QA team to move towards unscripted testing of requirements in the right situations. When this happens, we can't close the loop on our Jira stories without being able to import them as a Requirement and link it to an ET Test Run.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feature request.

Kindly note that we have recently implemented improvements to the Exploratory Testing module so that you can now link ET tests to requirements and then run them.

    Thanks for making PractiTest better.

    Best regards,
    Yaniv

  15. When deleting a test case, now we receives an email from Practi Test. If you could specify which tests have I deleted in the email that would be useful for the user.

  17. Example: System Version (1.0, 2.0, 3.0) custom field added to the test set. If I want to compare the results of all test instances for each Test Set execution based on this field, I need to have that value that I would enter into the Test Set automatically populate any tests in the set, and any issues that are created in the execution. Right now you have to bulk change the test instances with the System Version in order for them to show up in dashboards.

    Hi all,

Putting this request to completed since there is no real need to propagate these fields as now you can generate reports and dashboard graphs with taking values from other entities as Test or Test Set.

    Thanks,
    Yaniv

    Hi,

Kindly note that we added the ‘Save’ keyboard shortcut to the tool. Thus you will be able to use it within entities instead of pressing the button.

Thanks and have a nice day!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  19. Add the ability to make custom fields appear based on the input in other fields. For example, we have a custom list field called component that we use for grouping test items by feature. It would be helpful to have additional parameter fields appear if the tester selects a certain component.
