  1. This would be used when trying to find something in a long list. For Ex: A user has a custom field called 'Team' which has a dropdown list. This field contains over 100 inputs. User would start typing 'User Exp...' and the feature would filter through all the options and present 'User Experience'. This feature can be seen on Jira. Without this feature a user has to scroll through each name to find the right option.

    Hi,

Kindly note that the autocomplete feature was added to list custom fields including Version system field. This option will be added to the Exploratory Testing module shortly as well.

    Thanks
    Christine

  2. The ability to find a certain word/variable and replace all instances of it in one go. Should also have the ability to change some of the instances and not all (maybe you could skip to each instance similar to the find feature on Mac when in a window and you press Command + F and then use the arrows to skip to each instance)

  4. It would be very helpful if there was an ability to tag users in comments starting with '@user1' so they user can get notification by email. This should be added where ever comments can be added

  5. Like the current ability to add attachments to Tests, would like to ability to add documents to Test Set Pages so that a suite of tests also has accompanying documentation in 1 spot.

  6. When opening a test instance, we see the issues linked to it but not the status. Status is visible only when clicking on "To view other instances of this test, click here" that will show up duplicate info.
Suggestion to see the status directly in the test instance page.

  7. I want to add attachments to a step in the test run via the API. The attachment could be a screenshot or other helpful information.

This is already supported through the GUI but not the API.

  9. The REST API lets us create requirements with mappings to test ids. The typical use case is for requirements to be defined and then QA dev creates the associated test cases. The user interface allows the workflow, but the REST API does not.

  12. Allow the creation of a Test directly from the Requirement.

The test will be related to the requirement automatically to expedite the process.

    Hi Angela,

This feature is already in the system. Go to any requirements, in the traceability tab, in the section of LINKED TESTS, there is a button called Add New that does exactly what you are asking for.

    Thanks,

    -joel (PT Team)

  13. Usually when we use Paramters we already have some set of possibilities in our minds. It would be perfect to have possibility of using drop-down list of possible parameters for given Instance.

  14. Right now every team has multiple sprints and we have created a custom field as sprint of type list. In that, we have list items as [28, 29, 30] like that. Now to display each of these sprints with filters we have to create a filter for each one of them. Can there be a process to autogenerate these filters?. Otherwise, the process becomes very manual and cumbersome

    Hi,

Kindly note that from now on all the comments within the actual results will be saved automatically once you are leaving the comments window.

Thanks and have a great day!

    Best regards,
    Christine

  16. We can already see that information through the Traceabilty, but currently I think that It's not possible to create a filter in order to get all the tests linked to a specific/s Requirement/s (for example, in order to create Test Sets for specifics requirements).

We need to create an extra field with a list of requirements (manually added), when this information already exists and we have duplicate information.

I think that the creation of tests by requirements is a very common way of work, and it's not easy to get right now.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your patience.

Kindly note that we have recently added the ability to create filters with ‘Linked tests’, ‘Linked requirements’ and ‘Linked issues’ as available fields to filter by within the Test Library and the Requirements module.

Thus you will always know what entities linked to your requirements and tests (see a few screenshots attached).

    Thanks for improving PractiTest.

    Best regards,
    Yaniv

  17. Make it possible to show the JIRA status of a story which was imported using the JIRA plugin. for example, if a story is accepted on JIRA, we should see this updated in the practitest requirement

  18. We are managing our test cases with Tabular report with Requirement matrix. Detail matrix report is very large and confusing. It would be possible to add Tracebility option in Tabular Type reports.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your patience.

Kindly note that we have recently released this type of report. Please go to Reports – New Report – Requirement entity – Tabular Traceability.

    Thanks,
    Yaniv

  19. When reviewing tests cases, it would be useful to have a field to comment a step when a tester is reviewing someone else tests cases. This way, he can add comments without modifying the test case. In case of misunderstanding if the specification, from the reviewer, author of the test case can update the reviewer and doesn't need to rewrite the test case.
